Seen On TikTok: The Best Recipes I’ve Found On Everyone’s Favorite Social Media Platform
TikTok is basically my second kitchen. Whenever I need a quick meal idea or want to try something new, I scroll for five minutes and have my dinner inspiration. Over time, I’ve found a bunch of viral recipes that I actually love and make all the time. So today I’m sharing my top 20, all gluten-free or easily adjustable.
Here are my favorite TikTok recipes with the original creators!
1. Baked Feta Pasta – @liemessa
The iconic recipe that took over the internet. Finnish blogger Jenni Häyrinen (@liemessa) made it first and it went mega-viral. Cherry tomatoes, a block of feta, olive oil, garlic—bake it, stir in GF pasta and basil. So simple, so good.
2. Salmon Rice Bowl – @emilymariko
Probably the most aesthetic meal prep video I’ve ever seen. Emily’s signature bowl uses leftover salmon, rice, an ice cube for steaming, GF soy sauce, sriracha, Kewpie mayo, and avocado. Eat it with roasted seaweed snacks—perfection.
3. Pesto Eggs – @amywilichowski
Amy’s genius idea to fry eggs in pesto instead of oil blew up for good reason. It smells amazing and tastes even better. Try it on GF toast with avocado or cheese.
4. Bell Pepper Sandwiches – @lowcarbstateofmind
This crunchy “unwich” blew up as a low-carb hack, but I just love it for how fast and fresh it is. Slice a bell pepper in half and fill it like a sandwich. Turkey, mustard, cheese, cucumbers—it works with anything.
5. Twisted Bacon – @house.of.keto
The ultimate brunch hack. Twist strips of bacon and bake them on a sheet until crispy. Easy to make a big batch for hosting or meal prep.
6. Mini Pancake Cereal – trend by @themodernnonna
Tiny pancakes as cereal? Adorable and delicious. Make GF pancake batter, pour small dots into a pan, flip them, then eat with syrup or milk.
7. Cottage Cheese Ice Cream – @lainiecooks_
Protein-packed, creamy, and so customizable. Lainie blends cottage cheese with honey and peanut butter, freezes it, and turns it into dessert magic. I like mine with cocoa powder and almond butter!
8. Tortilla Wrap Hack – @crystalscookingfun
Crystal started this viral folding hack. Cut one slit in a tortilla, fill four quadrants with toppings, then fold, fold, fold into a triangle and grill. Try eggs, spinach, salsa, and cheese. Use GF wraps and you’re golden.
9. Avocado Air Fryer Egg – @feelgoodfoodie
Cut an avocado in half, crack in an egg, air fry until set, and top with seasoning. It’s warm, melty, and feels super fancy for minimal effort.
10. Yogurt Clusters – @natalie.mariduena
Yogurt, berries, and honey frozen into bite-size clusters, then dipped in chocolate. These were everywhere on TikTok for a reason. I use coconut yogurt and drizzle with melted dark chocolate.
11. Cucumber Sub Sandwich – @myhealthydish
MyHealthyDish shows how to hollow out a cucumber and stuff it with deli meat, cheese, and veggies. It’s refreshing and surprisingly filling.
12. Green Goddess Salad – @bakedbymelissa
Yes, that Melissa—the cupcake queen! Her cabbage-based green salad with a tangy basil dressing became the salad of 2022. Eat it with GF tortilla chips like a chunky dip.
13. Chia Pudding – @healthygirlkitchen
Chia pudding isn’t new, but it had a whole glow-up thanks to creators like Dani (@healthygirlkitchen). Mix chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla, and maple syrup. Let it set overnight and top it with fruit or chocolate chips.
14. Baked Oats – trend by @morgandrinkscoffee & @bostonfoodgram
Blended oats, banana, egg, milk—poured into a ramekin and baked like cake. Chocolate chip is my fave flavor. Use certified GF oats!
15. Zucchini Pizza Bites – multiple creators
Mini pizzas using zucchini slices as the base. Top with sauce, mozzarella, and mini pepperonis. Great low-carb snack. This one’s been shared by tons of healthy eating creators.
16. Sweet Potato Toast – @shuangys_kitchensink
Slice a sweet potato into planks, toast or bake until soft, and top like bread. I love almond butter and banana or smashed avo with chili flakes.
17. TikTok Ramen – @chefsouschef
Garlic, butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and an egg tossed into instant ramen. Use a gluten-free noodle like Lotus Foods to make it GF!
18. Stuffed Dates – @rachaelsgoodeats
Dates filled with almond butter and coated in chocolate taste like Snickers—but better. Rachael makes hers with collagen chocolate and flaky salt on top. Unreal.
19. Crispy Roasted Chickpeas – @plantyou
Toni from @plantyou makes these in all different flavors—taco, ranch, garlic parm. Just toss canned chickpeas in oil and seasoning, then roast until crispy.
20. Banana Sushi – @nutritionbykylie
Kylie spreads peanut butter on a banana, rolls it in crushed gluten-free cereal, then slices it into coins. It’s super kid-friendly but I eat it as a pre-workout snack too.
20 viral TikTok recipes that are 100% worth the hype. I’ve tried (and re-tried) all of these, and they’re total lifesavers when you want something fast, filling, and fun.
I love that TikTok makes food feel creative and approachable. You don’t need to be a chef to make something delicious—you just need your phone and a little curiosity.
